Zoo Animals, Period Dramas, and More!

This week, we are thinking about summer vacations, family day trips, and Jane Austen. We’ve got the summer covered with zoo animals for sunny days and period drama novels for rainy afternoons, with some extra inspiration in store along the way, plus another fabulous tutorial from Kate Eastwood.

Zoos are popular family day trip destinations in the summer: prepare your loved ones with these adorable zoo animal crochet patterns, from accessories, to blankets, to this super cute amigurumi zebra!

This week, Merion shares her editor’s inspiration – period dramas, novels, and Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice fans rejoice – we’ve got some seriously inspiring patterns and yarns to get you through the hot summer.

Just before the weekend, we’ll be talking about how you know that you’re a crocheter at heart. Does it come from your stash, your WIPs, or your enthusiasm for patterns?

To kick the weekend off, we’ll be welcoming Kate Eastwood back to the exclusive Crochet Club with a free pattern and tutorial for some funky fresh face cloths that are perfect as stashbusters or as a housewarming gift!
