Hopeful Honey video tips: How to slip stitch

This week, Olivia from Hopeful Honey has some advice for beginner crocheters: a video on how to slip stitch.

Have you met Olivia from Hopeful Honey? Last week, she taught beginners how to chain stitch, setting them up with the basics needed for crochet. After all, you can’t even start a project without that all-important foundation chain! This week, she’s releasing a new video on how to slip stitch, the next step in learning to crochet.  Olivia says,

The slip stitch is the flattest and smallest of all the crochet stitches. The slip stitch is necessary in most patterns as when crocheting in the round you’ll need to slip stitch in the first stitch to complete the round. A slip stitch is also often used to fasten off your yarn.

Watch this helpful video to learn how to slip stitch!

Stay tuned for next week, when Olivia will release another helpful how-to video!
