5 beautiful beach bags

What do you take to the beach? Are you a minimalist or do you need lots of space? Merion’s beach bag selection has something for everyone!

How much do you take to the beach? I’m one of those people who has to take a couple of books, my crochet (and associated yarn), lots of snacks, a bottle of water, and very little technology. Sun cream, and all the usual hair and make up suspects take up the rest of the bag.

So my first pick is the gorgeous openwork bag from Anastacia Zittel pictured above – that’s my kind of bag! It’s crocheted in a DK weight yarn, and comes in three sizes.

We love Heather Collins from Pink Milk Crochet. The little embroidery touches on this beach bag are just perfect with these ice cream pastels! Crochet this in any DK or aran weight cotton to create different sizes.

I love this colour block technique. And Kate’s beach bag is definitely roomy enough for everything you need for the beach! Kate uses Berroco Weekend but you can use your favourite DK cotton and change the colours to match your beach accessories. Follow our fabulous free tutorial on the blog.
