Valerie Bracegirdle from Agrarian Artisan has designed this beautiful crochet cowl especially for us!  Using textural highlights like crossed trebles (xtr), or crossed double crochet in American terminology (xdc), and a sweet picot edging, this cowl can be made up with just one skein (198m) or aran weight yarn!

The yarn that Valerie chose for this beautiful cowl is the divinely soft Berocco Alpaca, a stunning aran weight yarn that is 50% alpaca, 50% wool and comes in over 60 shades!  Even better, you’ll only need one 100g skein of this beautiful yarn to make the cowl, which makes it a very good value gift!

Our gorgeous Csilla, pictured above, is wearing the cowl in Lunar Mix (62188), which is a fabulous soft grey, but I love these beautiful jewel shades, and there are so many to choose from in this yarn.

Berocco Alpaca in Grapefruit Mix (62178), Seeding Mix (62187) and Berry Pie Mix (62171).

The pattern contains both written instructions and charts, and introductions to the feature crossed treble (double crochet) stitch.

This exclusive pattern is a FREE download, and you can make it in a weekend!  It’s the perfect gift or treat for yourself, so why not make a couple in different colours for the cold weather months!
