Morning Coffee: The Best of the Bags, June and Some Sugar!

Monday morning coffee with LoveCrochet - what's on this week?

Morning all!  We’ve got a packed week coming up!  Explore colour inspiration with Merion, a free pattern round up with some beautiful bags and a gorgeous tutorial with a dual purpose!

This week heralds the beginning of June – bringing sunshine for some of us, and winter for others, but plenty of crochet opportunities whatever the weather!  In the LoveCrochet office we’ve been dreaming about colour themes, learning stitches (Merion is testing out trellis stitch but more about that in a few weeks!) and drooling over new yarn…  it’s a tough life!

Wednesday

Angie’s hunting out freebies for you in her FREE Pattern round up!  This week – the best of the bags!  Crochet lends itself beautifully to bags, whether they’re sturdy shoppers, elegant evening purses or funky multi-colour buckets!

Thursday

Candy, sweeties, lollies – it’s a sugar fest for Merion on Thursday as she shares some colour inspiration based on her love of confectionery!  If you love the fizz of sherbert and the zinging hum of sugar, this is for you!

Saturday

Our Crochet Club tutorial this week will equip you for two fabulous projects!   Kate Eastwood’s fabulous ruffle pom pom pattern can be made in two sizes – large ruffly pom poms for a bath puff, or small jazzy ones for fun bunting!  If you missed last week’s gorgeous tutorial for the Darling Daisy Blanket, click here for a step-by-step guide.
